What is the procedure like?

The hydrafacial is 30-60 minute procedure that uses water or hydradermabrasion to clean, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate the skin.  The first step uses a specific deep cleansing solution to cleanse the surface of the skin removing the initial layer of oil and dirt.  Next exfoliation with a light chemical peel (combination of glycolic and salicylic acid) to remove debris or dead skin.  The chemical peel lowers the pH of the skin breaking the bonds that hold the upper dead layers of the epidermis together to allow for gentle removal of dead skin with irritation.  The third step is extraction where the vortex suction easily dislodges blackheads, whiteheads, and sebum (oil) to extract impurities from the deep within the pores.  Antioxidants and hyaluronic acid are infused into the cleansed skin to hydrate, nourish, and protect the skin.  The final step involves LED light therapy.  The red LED light helps to simulate collagen and elastin improving tone, texture, and pigment issues while the blue LED light is good for oily and acne prone skin.  A combination red and blue LED light treatment can help improve rosacea.

What is the cost?

The average cost is $150-300 depending on the customizable treatments added.

What are the expected results?

Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. For maintenance, one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
